Daughters of Light is a therapeutic program that teaches girls and women of all ages how to overcome the adversity and the personal stumbling blocks that prevent self-esteem and ultimate potential from being realized. Skills are taught which enhance self mastery and ignite insight into personal divinity. This program is for those who are struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, feelings of shame, and a lack of motivation, as well as those who may be tempted by or are currently struggling with addictive issues including, but not limited to, self-harming, pornography or sexual misbehavior, and some eating disorders. Through a confidential sisterhood, a safe environment is provided to help women of all ages identify personal weaknesses and negative self-beliefs that have led to damaging and sometimes addictive coping skills. Mindy Lundgreen, LCSW the guiding clinician provides a protected and therapeutic environment for participants to explore who they really are and the royal nature of who they have always been.
Young women and women of all ages who participate in the Daughters of Light Program become keenly aware of the adversary’s cunning influence in their lives including how irrational beliefs and physical chemical reactions prevent practical and healthy choices. The participants will explore and recognize how Satan has customized an attack plan specifically to play upon her personal weakness. Life changing skills are taught and practiced within the group setting to combat negative thoughts and behaviors. The integration and use of these skills outside of group is expected. A weekly return and report method of follow up further encourages growth and support within the bond of sisterhood. Self-worth and mastered strength inspired by the Daughters of Light Program teaches each participant how to find light in darkness, confidence in who they truly are, and have the courage to stand strong even when alone against adversity.
